It was so great that we extended our stay. Unfortunately, we now have to leave again.

First extension to a total of 3 days. Everything's great. We're staying even longer.

We received a very warm welcome and everything was explained to us. The pitches are sloped, so leveling ramps are very useful. There are plenty of electrical hookups distributed throughout the site. The sanitary facilities are clean and spacious. The shower is warm, although the water pressure is very low. The surroundings are very quiet, and you can always find a shady spot under the old olive trees. There's no Wi-Fi on the site, but the mobile network coverage is excellent. We can highly recommend the food in the restaurant, especially the antipasti platter, which is very generous and features typical Sicilian dishes. We had planned to stay for two nights but ended up staying another because it's so lovely here.

The place is truly beautiful, but definitely not suitable for a motorhome. We drove back up, honking our horns, and at one point, the incline was only manageable with a running start—no chance in the rain! No one came towards us. There are a few places to cross, but coming across a motorhome is absolutely not fun. The amenities down below are disproportionate to the access: 16 power outlets (for entertainment?), a restaurant, showers, and a restroom. In a few places, you can straighten your car with chocks.

The place is very beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. It has hot showers, greywater disposal, toilets, electricity included, a restaurant, etc. However, it's only recommended for narrow vehicles, with sirens activated, and in dry weather or with four-wheel drive. On a 3-meter-wide road, two campers can cross three times in 8 km. At the very bottom, there are 25% gradients, including switchbacks on gravel. We'll be happy if we make it back to the top without getting stuck. If you want to spend more than a maximum of 22 hours here, you'll need to book two nights.
