About the site
Our equipped area is located in the territory of Castelbuono, 10 km from the historic center, 700 m from the suggestive Gole Di Tiberio, a small natural canyon completely immersed in uncontaminated Nature. The van, minivan and tent area is equipped with electric columns, a barbecue area, toilets, showers, outdoor sinks, shaded areas, gray water discharge (contact the staff) Our rates include the pitch and services (electricity, toilets, hot/cold showers, barbecue area, outdoor sinks) Contact us before booking, we will be at your complete disposal!

Dinghy excursions to the suggestive Tiberio Gorges
The excursion includes crossing the Tiberio Gorges by dinghy, which are about 200 meters long and narrow in some places. The Tiberio Gorges are part of the Geopark site recognized by UNESCO, because they are one of the most interesting naturalistic attractions in the area. After passing the Gorges, you go down to a small beach and continue with a short walk along the Pollina River, reaching the nudist area and the small Gorges where, for those who have not yet given in to temptation, you can take a nice refreshing dip. Duration: 2 hours Equipment: shorts and T-shirt, swimsuit, rock shoes with thick soles or trainers, flip-flops prohibited. Cost: Adult € 20.00 Child € 12.00 (6-14 years) Baby € 3.00 for equipment (2-5 years)

Der Ort ist wirklich schön, aber definitiv nicht geeignet für ein Wohnmobil. Wir sind hupend wieder hochgefahren und an einer Stelle ist die Steigung nur mit Anlauf zu schaffen - bei Regen keine Chance! Es ist uns keiner Entgegen gekommen. Ees gibt einige Stellen zum Kreuzen, aber wenn Dir ein Wohnmobil entgegen kommt absolut nicht lustig. Der Komfort unten ist in keinem Verhältnis zu der Zufahrt: 16 Steckdosen (für die Unterhaltung?), Restaurant, Duschen, WC. An wenigen Stellen bekommst Du das Auto mit Keilen gerade.

Der Ort ist sehr schön, still, friedlich, es hat warme Dusche, Grauwasserentsorgung, WC, Strom inkl., Restaurant usw. Aber zu empfehlen nur für schmale Fahrzeuge, mit eingeschalteter Sirene und bei trockenem Wetter oder Allrad. Auf 3 m breiter Strasse können auf 8 Km zwei Camper 3 mal Kreuzen, Ganz unten sind 25% Staigungen inkl. Serpentinen auf Schotter dabei. Wir sind froh, wenn wir ohne stecken zu bleiben wieder oben sind. Falls Du mehr als maximal 22 Stunden hier verbringen willst, musst Du 2 Nächte buchen.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Der familiengeführte Stellplatz ist inmitten der Berge und nicht weit bis zur historischen Schlucht „Gole di Tiberio“. Die Familie betreibt dort auch ein kleines Restaurant mit Spezialitäten aus eigenem Anbau (unbedingt probieren!). Der Stellplatz bietet neben dem beeindruckenden Ausblick alles was zum Campen benötigt wird: Strom, Wasser, WC, Dusche, Mülleimer und genügende Schattenplätze. Auch die Bootstour durch die Schlucht ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! P.S.: Lasst euch nicht von dem Anfahrtsweg verunsichern, wir hatten mit einem VW Grand California keine Probleme.
