About the site
Austria, Carinthia, 9170 Ferlach Laak. Secluded location and private area for you and your family/friends. You book the entire half-hectare level meadow with trees, bushes, a tipi, a natural pond with a jetty, and a beautiful clear stream for swimming and a hand-operated water pump, without other campers. Nudism is permitted. 3-4 pitches are available. If you would like to travel as a group, please contact us. *Asphalt parking lot always accessible (parking space near the linden trees) *Meadow parking spaces may be accessible depending on prior consultation and weather conditions: 1. Meadow near fire pit (access via asphalt parking lot, drive to a maximum of 15m to the fire pit, level) 2. Meadow by the stream (access before the bridge, lift out the fence element, drive forward a maximum of 10m, level) 3. Meadow by the tipi (access in front of the tipi, drive forward a maximum of 15m, minimal incline) The access road is level and paved except for the last 200 meters, which are a gravel road. A natural gem! *Use your own toilet (public toilet: Hauptplatz 4, 9170 Ferlach) *Restaurant 5 minutes by car Camping Roz, Gotschuchen 34, 9173 Gotschuchen *Emptying fresh water, wastewater and sewage tanks: 10-minute drive to Messeplatz 5, 9170 Ferlach *Public shower (22 minutes): Gewerbestraße 11, 9181 Feistritz im Rosental. A large solid wood table, chairs, a lounger, benches, stand-up paddleboards, and a bicycle are provided, as well as a swing, tractor, and zip line for the children. During the colder months, for example, some amenities may not be available, such as the table being covered or the tipi not being clothed, etc. We travel extensively ourselves, so there are no hidden costs.

Regulate: 1. Children and furry friends like dogs are welcome. 2. Drive out of the meadow parking spaces in reverse without turning around and gently. 3. Maximum 10 people 4. Leave clean 5. Self-responsibility 6. Respectful behavior throughout the entire premises 7. Fire pit and campfire: a. Light fires only in the designated fire pit b. Keep fires small and controlled (max. approx. 40 cm) c. Always supervise fires d. Before lighting: Fill a bucket or watering can with water and have it ready. e. Only burn untreated wood f. Firewood: 1 full bucket €9 g. Please bring your own kindling/paper, get it from the house or collect it on site h. completely extinguish fire and embers i. No fires during strong winds, drought, or increased fire risk j. A fire extinguisher is located next to the front door of the house (for emergencies). 8. Legal Notice and Liability a. Lighting an open fire is generally permitted, provided there are no official restrictions. b. Compliance with all legal regulations is the responsibility of the guests. c. Use of the fire pit is at your own risk. Guests who cause damage, in particular damage caused by improper handling of fire (e.g. fire or property damage to the land, building or third parties), are liable. d. I exclude all liability. Liability for damages due to personal injury, as well as in cases of gross negligence or intent, remains unaffected. 9. In case of violation of the rules, we reserve the right to expel anyone from the premises.

Everything fine
A beautiful spot surrounded by nature and birdsong! A wonderful place to unwind and simply enjoy! Karl, the host, is incredibly accommodating and very friendly; I look forward to coming back sometime! Definitely recommended! THANK YOU for still having places and people like this! PS: Please don't leave any trash in the wild, and maybe even pick some up if you find it somewhere!
What can we say? Karl has created a simply stunning place here! It was truly fantastic to have such a beautiful spot in the middle of nature all to ourselves; the dog loved it too! We explored the many walking trails, enjoyed cooling off in the stream, and admired the surrounding mountains. Communication with Karl was super friendly and easy. Definitely one of the most beautiful campsites at VanSite 🌟 We would definitely come back!
Great spot, nice and quiet, with great places to sit. Communication was totally uncomplicated and friendly. We would come back anytime. Our dogs also felt very comfortable.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
Regardless of the selected cancellation policy and the type of booking, the VanSite service fee will be retained in full for every cancellation.
