About the site
The morning sun lures you out of bed so you don't sleep through the day. It's about a twenty-minute walk to Horka train station (Horka is on the railway line from Cottbus to Zittau via Görlitz and can be reached every hour) to take the train to Görlitz, the most beautiful city in Germany. There is a beautiful old town with narrow streets and numerous historic buildings (around 4000 monuments). The Gründerzeit district is also worth seeing. A little way behind the train station is the Görlitz Zoo and, a little further on, the Landskron Brewery. The brewery offers regular tours, where you can, of course, enjoy and purchase the wonderful beer. A beautiful bathing lake, the Blue Hole, is located on the outskirts of Niesky (about 6 km from Horka) and invites you to swim. Towards the afternoon, pleasant shade from huge deciduous trees descends over your tent and promises pleasant temperatures at night. By the way, there is a shop in Horka where you can not only get good bread, rolls, and cakes from good local bakers, but also fresh sausage and meat products, as well as everything else you might need.

Danke Micha für den einzigartigen Aufenthalt. So kurzfristig warst du für uns und die Kids eine Riesen Rettung. Vielen Dank :) wir kommen nochmal wieder.
Der Empfang war sehr nett und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Wir verbrachten einen tollen Abend mit Fanny und Micha. Man trifft selten so aufrichtige, unkomplizierte und großzügige Menschen. Danke, dass wir zwei Nächte auf eurem schönen und liebevoll gestalteten Grundstück verbringen durften. Wir hoffen, wir sehen uns wieder. Ingrid und Raymund
Eine extrem nette Gastfreundliche Familie, wir waren sofort beim Du. Es war absolut unkompliziert obwohl ich mit meinem Pferd auf Wanderritt war es kein Problem mit einkoppeln übernacht und tagsüber war es sogar möglich, das sich mein Pferd komplett frei auf dem Grundstück bewegen konnte. Ich habe Stromband und Weidegerät für eventuelle weitere Wanderreiter da gelassen damit für diesen halt kein Zaun Zeug mitgenommen werden muss. Wie gesagt es war sehr gastfreundlich für mein oferd und mich, deswegen gerne wieder. Ich hoffe das wir uns mal wieder sehen und bedanke mich nochmals ganz Herzlich für das was Michael und Fanny für uns zwei möglich gemacht haben.
Wir haben uns selten so wohl gefühlt und wurden gleich herzlich empfangen, dass wir uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Der Garten ist liebevoll gestaltet und sehr idyllisch. Die beiden sind total unkompliziert und super hilfsbereit und nett. Die Idee mit dem Gästebuch ist eine tolle Sache und man kann nachvollziehen, wieviel Arbeit geleistet wurde. Klare Empfehlung für alle Camper ! Gunter und Karin
