"Im Felde" (In the Field) is the old name for our property, as it lies nestled among fields, meadows, and small woods. The center of Steinhagen is about 2.5 km away – easily reached by road or via a more leisurely route through the woods and fields. In town, you'll find two ice cream parlors, a library, an indoor swimming pool, restaurants, and supermarkets. The Waldbad – Steinhagen's natural outdoor swimming pool – is also easily accessible by bicycle. The bakery isn't far: it's right across the street from us. Except on Sundays, you can always get fresh baked goods there. They have the best bread for miles around, and their coffee strips are simply divine! :-) There are other bakeries in town that are also open on Sundays. Public transport is available, but we'd better not discuss it further. You'll be standing in a sunny, airy spot on grass between a meadow and a field. We have a fire pit on site. We can fill your water bottles with drinking water, and electricity can also be arranged. We don't have a toilet or bathroom! But you can charge your electric car or e-bike with us using our own solar power for a small donation. You are welcome to bring children; there is plenty of space for them to run around. We do not have playground equipment such as swings or slides. Dogs or other animals are not at all to our cat's liking, so we are only suitable for homes without pets.
