About the site
Tenuta del Tempio Antico is located in a complex dating back to the 10th century AD, once used as a religious monastery by the Celestine Fathers and as a water mill. Expertly restored in 1990 with strict respect for the original style, today surrounded by beautiful parks, an oasis of tranquility. From the vineyards you can access a dirt cycle path that reaches the sea. The estate produces excellent white and red wines, sparkling wines, grappa, extra virgin olive oil, and honey. Tastings of wines and typical local products are available upon advance reservation. The camper parking area is gravel, surrounded by gardens, vineyards and olive trees, with a view of the sunset. The site is beautiful; you're actually standing in a park surrounded by vineyards. The entire complex is very well-maintained and clean. The food and wine tasting were delicious and highly recommended, and Marika and her family are very nice and helpful. We will come back. Thank you
Marika is very kind and the contact was good. The area is beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed dinner in a great setting. My husband wasn't to his liking for the wine, but we'd definitely go back. By the way, the balsamic vinegar is heavenly!
A lovely pitch at a winery that produces wine, sparkling wine, various pestos, vinegars, and olive oil. All products are available for purchase in the shop. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, and the hostess, Marika, is very friendly and helpful. A gravel path leads along a river to the beach at Cattolica (approx. 1.5 hours on foot). However, in my opinion, the flat rate of €12 for electricity/day and €10 for toilet and shower/day, as well as the VanSite fee of €32 for three nights, is too high.
