This place is simply fantastic, and especially the hosts. Even the journey here can take your breath away – I chose the route from Beziers through the nature reserve, which is a dream for fans of narrow, winding roads. You don't need a four-wheel drive or SUV to get there; my SLK managed it. The place is located in the middle of nature and very quiet; I didn't even notice any farming here, perfect for sleeping in and recharging your batteries. I spent almost a week here. Construction of the plumbing is well underway; the only thing missing when I left was the shower faucet. However, showering was available at the host family's house. This means future visitors have brand-new amenities at their disposal. Everything is very clean. There's also a washing machine, refrigerator, stove, and dishes. So, you won't be missing anything you might need. The hosts speak some English and aren't afraid to use a translator, so you can chat, have fun, and exchange travel tips. They truly spoil you. A gift upon arrival, small appetizers every day, a game of pétanque followed by an excursion, the opportunity to rent a paddle boat or a bicycle... You could say they anticipate your wishes, but in reality, they fulfill them before you even realize you have them :-D . All in all, the most beautiful stop of my trip so far. Thank you so much <3
