About the site
Not far from the edge of the forest lies our meadow, where we plant a few trees each year so that we can have a beautiful fruit tree population in a few years. The property is fenced and offers beautiful views of the Odenwald, including the Otzberg mountain and the vineyards near Groß-Umstadt. There's plenty to do in our surroundings, including the Art Nouveau swimming pool in Darmstadt, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Messel Pit, the Kranistein hunting lodge, the Lautertal rock formations, the Otzberg mountain, the Hüttenthal cheese dairy, the Marbach reservoir, the Prinz von Hessen pit, the Reichelsheim chocolate factory, the Darmstadt State Museum, historic old towns, the Beerfelden horse market, the Vivarium Zoo, the English Garden in Eulbach, the wildlife park, the Roman Villa Haselburg, and more.

Ein schöner Platz inmitten von Wiesen und Feldern bei einem sehr netten Gastgeber, der nach der Arbeit kurz auf einen kleinen Plausch vorbeikam. 👍 Es gibt direkt vom Platz aus sehr schöne Wege für einen Spaziergang oder auch eine größere Wanderung. Und durch die verkehrsgünstige Lage ideal für einen Zwischenstopp auf der Durchreise. Geräuschempfindlich dürft ihr allerdings nicht sein.

Der landschaftlich schön und relativ ruhig gelegene Stellplatz, auf einer wirklich großzügigen und ebenen Wiese, liegt ab des öffentlichen Verkehrs, die angrenzenden Wege können gut zum Wandern und Fahrrad fahren genutzt werden. Die Stellfläche ist eben und die Zufahrt absolut unproblematisch. Umliegende Sehenswürdigkeiten, Bundesstraße und auch Autobahn sind mit dem Fahrzeug schnell erreichbar. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber klappte prima. Dieser Platz ist für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt in jedem Falle empfehlenswert.

Es war wunderschön. Alexander hat uns mit seinem Sohn herzlich in Empfang genommen. Der Platz ist wunderbar und läd zum Entspannen und verweilen ein. Haben direkt eine zweite Nacht dran gehangen.

Die Lage der Wiese ist prima, Alexander war sehr freundlich. Es war eine ruhige Nacht.
