Dear camper friends, As long-time expats and campervan owners, we're often on the move and not always on-site. Therefore, good communication via phone, WhatsApp, or Telegram during our absence is important to ensure everything runs smoothly. Especially during rainy days, when the meadows are wet and damp, the grassy areas are only accessible to a limited extent. To protect the environment and avoid getting stuck, we only offer parking spaces on the grass pavers on such days. These have no view of the pond, but are also located away from the main road and surrounded by nature. No matter what time of year, we will always find a nice spot for you. And one more note: please DO NOT drive to the end of the dead end, but about 60 meters before the end of the street turn right into the parking lot, then please call. *************************************************************************************************** Now to the actual text: We offer an idyllic spot on our rural estate, surrounded by nature. Our pitches are located right next to the horse pastures and offer magnificent views over the fields and meadows. There's also a small pond where you can relax and enjoy stunning sunsets. The parking space is located approximately 1 km outside of Pölitz (near Bad Oldesloe, Stormarn) between Hamburg and Lübeck on the A1 motorway. The surrounding area is characterized by small lakes, meadows, and forests. Whether horses, cows, sheep, or ducks, anyone who loves animals and nature will feel at home in our area. The area is ideal for short and long bike rides. The nearest shopping facility is in Bad Oldesloe, about a 10-minute drive away. Our pitches are ideal for a stopover on your way north (or on your way back). We're not far from the motorway, right on the route. But it's also a beautiful place for a short break in the countryside. Nearby destinations include Lübeck (approx. 30 minutes by car) with its historic old town and Holstentor Gate; Travemünde and Timmendorf with their beautiful beach promenade and fantastic beaches (37 minutes by car); Bad Segeberg (Karl May Festival); Mölln, the town of Till Eulenspiegel; or the cosmopolitan city of Hamburg (approx. 30 minutes by car). Tip: Exploring Hamburg by bike is much more fun when the weather's nice. It's about a 20-minute bike ride to Bad Oldesloe train station, then the regional train to Hamburg (runs every 30 minutes). We have two parking spaces available on our property. We have paved areas as well as grassy pitches (weather permitting). We also provide water and electricity. Internet access is readily available via D1 and Vodafone. A caravan is also possible, provided you can ensure that no wastewater enters the ground.
