About the site
Welcome to our small, quiet place in the municipality of Bucha in the Saale-Orla district. The parking spaces are located on the outskirts of the village on our agricultural land, on grassy ground and bordering the edge of the field. Some are on a very slight slope. At the campsite you can purchase drinks, fresh quail eggs and honey from the beekeeper next door every day. A small footpath leads you 50 m away to our small viewpoint “Weitblick” (panoramic view), from which, with good visibility and perhaps a glass of wine, you can see for many kilometers and perhaps even spot some wildlife. In our cozy little corner, you'll find, among other things, a cooking and preparation table. And if it should happen to rain, you'll also have the opportunity for games, fun, and entertainment there. Our previous guests particularly appreciated the romantic sunsets at the campsite. At the campsite, toilets, waste disposal, fire bowl including wood and much more can be used free of charge. Our location is the ideal starting point for beautiful hikes and bike tours, e.g. to the land of a thousand ponds or a railway hike to the beautiful small town of Ziegenrück on the Saale river. Another wonderful break at this comfortably equipped campsite! We'd love to come back.
One of the most beautiful campsites is located directly in front of a huge cornfield with a fantastic panoramic view. The sunset is magical, as is the peace and quiet. Rene has created a fantastic, incredibly clean and well-maintained spot for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. Guests are treated to quail eggs, beer, soft drinks, or honey from the neighbor, if they wish. In case of rain, there's a cozy covered area where you can sit or play darts. The toilet and shower are always kept spotless. You can even leave with an empty waste tank. Outside the toilet and shower area, there's a large canister where you can empty your cassette toilet. Rene and his wife gave us an incredibly warm welcome, and we had wonderful conversations with these incredibly kind and helpful hosts. The lovely afternoon in Ziegenröck was simply fantastic. For us, this spot is by far the most beautiful and best campsite we've found, with so many opportunities to explore the surrounding countryside and area. Rene is always happy to share his tips and recommendations. We had a truly unforgettable holiday with him and Beate. We'll be back and would gladly give more than 5 stars!!!
