Our motorhome site is nestled in the picturesque landscape of the Volcanic Eifel region, surrounded by dense forests and unparalleled tranquility. Situated between the charming towns of Bitburg, Gerolstein, and Prüm, our site is the ideal starting point for exploring the beauty of the surrounding area. Dogs are very welcome here, because we know they are an important part of your family. Enjoy walks together along the Matthias Pilgrimage Trail or discover the Birresborn Ice Caves, just a stone's throw from our campsite. For nature lovers and active holidaymakers, the region offers numerous opportunities to explore the surroundings, whether on hikes through the countryside or on extended mountain bike tours. And if you're hungry after an eventful day, visit our farm shop, where you'll find delicious regional specialties such as fresh eggs and homemade pasta. Thirsty? No problem! We have a selection of chilled drinks available, and alcoholic beverages are also available upon request. Facts about the Biene motorhome pitch: Free Wi-Fi, approximately 50 Mbps For motorhomes up to approx. 7.5 m Electricity available for an extra charge (230V/6A) (May 1st – September 30th: €4 flat rate per night, October 1st – April 30th: €0.60 per week) Overnight stay: €7 per night Arrival from 2 pm, departure by 12 pm (or by prior arrangement) No water or waste disposal facilities, no shower/toilet (But each of you has a toilet on board and lets our forest grow in peace) Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. A visitor's tax of €0.75 per person per night is payable on site and is not included. Included in the overnight fee Fresh eggs and more (snacks, drinks, etc.) are available daily at the egg stand/farm shop opposite, open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Regional alcoholic beverages are also available chilled upon request. The parking area is in Mürlenbach Weißenseifen. The nearest town is Mürlenbach. There you'll find Bertrada Castle and the Kylltal cycle path. Mürlenbach lies between Gerolstein (15 km) and Bitburg (28 km). It is also only 17 km to Prüm. Schönecken is only a 10-minute drive away. There you'll find a small supermarket, a snack bar, a local pharmacy, a bakery, and a doctor. And for hiking, there's the Schönecker Schweiz (Schönecken Switzerland) area. Kopp/Eifel is only about 4 km away. There you'll find an archery center with a cozy restaurant. A popular excursion destination is the Birresborn Ice Caves (open to the public from April 15th to October 15th!), which can be reached from the campsite via a hike. Near the ice caves, there is an extra-large bench offering a beautiful view over the Eifel region and Birresborn. The Wallenborn Brubbel, about 17 km away, is very beautiful. (The "Brubbel" is usually open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM from April to October.) A trip to Trier (approx. 50 min) can be easily combined with a visit to Luxembourg.
