About the site
Welcome to Sheep Lovers! Our campsite is located right on the edge of the forest, opposite our small sheep farm. Here you can enjoy nature, listen to the birds chirping and relax. We took over the farm just under a year ago and have been lovingly developing it ever since. It's not all perfect yet – but you can expect an authentic place with warm-hearted people, curious sheep, and plenty of peace and quiet. (The sheep aren't always on the farm; I can give you the address of the sheep pasture by arrangement, and you can watch the milking in the morning and pet them. The next sheep cuddle sessions on the farm are on June 20th/21st and July 18th/19th; these are available for a fee, and spaces are limited.) From here starts a beautiful, well-signposted 5 km long hiking trail, which is perfect for walks or small discovery tours. The site is ideal for campervans, small motorhomes, or tents seeking a romantic retreat close to nature. Enjoy the tranquility of the forest, the fresh air, and a taste of authentic country life. First, you book a parking space for yourself and your vehicle. If you'd like even more comfort, you can easily add access to the house. There you'll have access to Wi-Fi, electricity, a kitchen, a toilet, and a bathroom. For maximum flexibility, you'll simply receive the code for the key box and can use everything at your leisure. Ideal for those who want to enjoy the peace and quiet of country life – with the freedom to decide how much comfort they want to indulge in. Attention: Motorhomes can only park in our yard, as it has rained a lot recently and the area at the edge of the forest is not paved.

We received a wonderful welcome. Despite the bad weather, we were given a great spot. During a dry spell, we went for a long walk. We were able to do some fantastic geocaching with our daughter along the trail. There were several caches along the way. The sheep were lovely, and we couldn't hear a thing from the motorway. The farm shop also has lots of information about sheep. Feel free to stop by.
Huge disappointment! I booked in April, including a toilet, shower, Wi-Fi, etc. Then in May, I received an email saying I had to pay an extra €15 for these very things. This wasn't mentioned in the description when I booked; it was changed afterward. Then there's the pitch itself—not even on the property, but on the side of a dirt road. There aren't really any designated pitches. The motorway is loud and audible if you're not in your camper. The AI-generated image of the site is also only a rough approximation of reality. Apparently, I was the first person to book here, and my initial trust was unfortunately misplaced. My first real disappointment with VanSite.
First of all, thank you again for everything. The owner and caretaker are very nice. It's a beautiful, idyllic spot with delicious ice cream made from their own sheep. There's also a farm shop.
