Quiet meadow close to nature with a view of our Heidschnucken pasture. The farm is located on the outskirts of Wachendorf, at the foot of the northern Eifel and is a wonderful starting point for relaxation in nature. Here you will find space on a spacious meadow with an unobstructed view of the landscape, a fire in the evening, a sauna in the clay sauna, products from our Heidschnucken and chilled drinks. We look forward to seeing you! The clay sauna We built our sauna ourselves and it is the way we love saunas. The heating is provided by a wood stove and the pleasant heat that radiates from the clay walls can be enjoyed while looking out into the garden. You can cool off under the jet shower and there are comfortable wooden chairs (Barcelona beach chairs) in the anteroom for relaxing. We offer the sauna for exclusive use for a flat rate of €70. The package includes: wood for firing, lighting and heating, instructions on how to use it and a small selection of infusions. The Manufactory The listed Vierkanthof in the Eifel is home to our factory for tuned chimes. Here you can get an insight into the production of the hand-made chimes. Here we sell our own musical products as well as gongs and singing bowls, selected gift items, a wide range of poinsettias and products from our Heidschnucken sheep. The white horned Heidschnucken Our white horned Heidschnucke sheep are outside all year round. They are extremely robust and live with us behind the farm and on the neighboring pastures. The white horned Heidschnucke sheep are on the red list of endangered domestic animal breeds. By keeping them, we are making an important contribution to the preservation of traditional farm animals. You can buy sausage, meat, furs and other products directly on site. On request, we can also send you a list of everything currently available. You can see the Bruder Klaus Field Chapel by the Swiss architect Peter Zumthor from the parking space; it is only 800 m away. The exciting hiking trails of the Eifelschleifen and Eifelspuren lead directly past Wachendorf. Invitation to go swimming: Madbachtalsperre 14 km / Zülpicher water sports lake 15 km / the Maare, the volcanic lakes of the Eifel, are about 75 km away.
