About the site
The campsite is situated in a beautiful, quiet location, surrounded by nature in the Achertal valley in the Black Forest, with stunning views of the valley, the Hornisgrinde mountain, meadows, forest, and vineyards. See pictures. Perfect for nature lovers – pure relaxation awaits. Please always send a message when booking this pitch. Registration at the farmhouse is required before arrival. Anyone wishing to arrive earlier than 5 pm can send me a message via Vansite message chat and ask if it's possible to arrive earlier. Two self-service drink stations / "schnapps fountains" are easily accessible on foot in the immediate vicinity. One of them is located directly on the farm (Oberer Heidenhof / Baßler family). They offer both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, as well as a wide selection of fine brandies, liqueurs, and other spirits, all produced on the farm. The village has shops, a swimming pool (a 20-minute walk away) and much more. It is worth visiting the "Hex vom Dasenstein" wine cellar with its fabulous wines. Hiking trails such as Schnapsbrunnenpfad, Kappelrodecker Hexensteig, and LEPO-Ottenhöfen run directly to the farm. Fresh water is available at various natural springs nearby, such as the Silber-Brünnele.

Site rules
Leave no trash or dirt behind. Due to intensive grazing, dogs must not be allowed to run free in the meadows. There is no leash requirement at the campsite itself. Campfires are not allowed! Barbecuing with a gas or charcoal grill is only permitted when no forest fire warnings are in effect.

A very nice spot with a great view and a secluded, sheltered location. Two campers can easily park here.
Wunderbarer Platz! Tolle Aussicht, Ruhe, viele Wanderwege (mit ordentlichen Steigungen..), sehr schöne Gegend, ganz tolle Gastgeber, einfach großartig!
Danke für den tollen Stellplatz! Was für eine Aussicht, das haben andere nicht ;) Haben den oberen Heidenhof gefunden über das Suchkriterium "Alleinlage" und das trifft zu. Obwohl nicht weit entfernt (alles fußläufig) waren wir doch unter uns (Stellplatz ist eine Sackgasse und nur wenige haben sich mal verirrt). Der Platz ist fast eben, haben aber trotzdem die Auffahrkeile nutzen müssen. Untergrund ist Kiesel mit Gras durchsetzt, was sehr gut ist, da stabil, nicht schlammig und trotzdem kein hässlicher Asphalt. Klar, es gibt kein Strom und kein Wasser, aber das weiß man vorher und wir waren autark dank Wohnmobil und haben jeden Tag genossen! (Wetter hat auch mitgespielt) Bei der Anreise kann man Google Maps vertrauen und auch der Weg ist breit genug für ein großes Wohnmobil (wir hatten 7m lang, 3m hoch und 2,3m breit). Sollte nur paar PS haben, denn auf dem letzten Stück wird's steil. Wollten eigentlich den Stellplatz nutzen, um dann tagsüber nach Baiersbronn zu fahren - aber wozu? Kappelrodeck hat auch ausreichend Wandermöglichkeiten. A propos: man sollte in dieser Region kein Anti-Alkoholiker sein, denn man ist schon im Weinanbaugebiet und hier gibt's gut zu süffeln (weniger Wein, eher Brände) und zwar überall :) Wenn wieder Schwarzwald ansteht kommen wir auf jeden Fall hier hin! Regina ist eine super Gastgeberin.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt auf diesem Van-Stellplatz wirklich sehr genossen! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir unglaublich freundlich empfangen, was direkt für eine entspannte und angenehme Atmosphäre gesorgt hat. Der Stellplatz selbst ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen – perfekt, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und einfach mal abzuschalten. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Aussicht: Tagsüber hat man einen herrlichen Blick in die Natur, und nachts wird man mit einem traumhaften Sternenhimmel belohnt. Für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und einen herzlichen Empfang schätzen, ist dieser Platz absolut empfehlenswert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
