About the site
With us, it's uncomplicated; you can choose your own pitch, and we're always open, making it ideal for self-sufficient, freedom-loving campers. The natural meadow on the outskirts of town, nestled in the vineyards with a view of the Rhine Valley, belongs to our Mett & Weidenbach winery, which is 800 meters away. A small fire pit (please note the current forest fire risk index) and a covered seating area are available. Four chickens (no rooster) live with you on the meadow, and our senior citizens' residence and our winery hall are right next to the pitch. Enjoy the sunset over the vineyards with a relaxing glass of wine! A small selection of our wines is available for purchase on-site. And be sure to visit us at our winery's wine shop in the heart of Nieder-Ingelheim. Here, you can discover our high-quality wine selection with a tasting in our charming courtyard or in the wine shop, immersing yourself in our Rhenish-Hessian way of life! While there are no water or waste disposal facilities directly on site, there's plenty of nature all around and plenty to explore in the surrounding area. Please make sure you have a toilet, water, and possibly electricity on board, as none of these are available on-site. Numerous hiking trails and bike rides through the hilly landscape of Rhenish Hesse are right on your doorstep, and there's always something culturally exciting in the district town of Ingelheim. A grocery store and an organic market are within walking distance. Approximately 2 km from our meadow there is a public motorhome parking area with fresh water supply and waste water disposal facilities.

Very friendly contact, very spacious pitch, panoramic view, campfire site. The only point deducted is the steep slope in some places. Even with large ramps and air suspension adjustments, standing upright was difficult, so cooking, frying, and drainage were different. Nevertheless, we can only recommend the place and would camp there again!

A very nice spot right next to the vineyards with a beautiful view all the way to the Rheingau. A wonderful evening atmosphere while enjoying a cool glass of wine. Perfect

And we really enjoyed it! The simple (sloping) meadow is surrounded by vineyards, and the wine is chilled in the wine shop. We all enjoyed the campfire together. We'd love to come back!

We spent two wonderful days and nights on the meadow in the vineyard with a view of the Rhine. The view of the Rhine Valley with a good glass of wine from the Mett & Weidenbach winery is worth the trip. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.
