About the site

The place is adjacent to the meadow of our free-range chickens directly on the beautiful Ach. Whether for a romantic barbecue or for swimming in summer , the Ach invites you to spend comfortable hours by the water in every season. Our dairy cows , chickens , two dogs , cats and our pot-bellied pigs live on our adjacent farm. Four generations live under one roof on our farm. Hospitality and respect for dealing with nature and animals is our top priority. For breakfast you can buy fresh milk and free-range eggs from us. Or if you order in advance , we will bring you a breakfast basket to the pitch (per person € 15.00) In our dirt sluice at the farm , you can take a shower for a fee. We are also happy to offer you a fresh coffee.

During the long WE around Ascension Day we (2 adults + 2 children + 1 small dog) were at this great location with a van and a tent. Plenty of space, right on the Ach with barbecue facilities. Farm dog has visited us several times, calm, balanced, no problem. Our dog could move freely with consideration for the "neighbors". We have also booked a toilet/shower, about a 200m walk, directly above the milk room. Sufficient, we would have liked it to be cleaner. Breakfast basket can be pre-ordered. Delivery directly to the place. Excellent communication and quick response. We will be happy to come back.

We were very excited, it was pure nature. The parking space was right on the water where you can make your small campfire and forget the time. We (2 adults and 2 children) were able to spend 2 wonderful days here in mid-August 2022. Super nice hosts, perfect weather and great location. We had a great spot for our car with a rooftop tent right on the river with access to water and a fire pit. The courtyard just a few hundred meters away with shower and toilet. Super nice & quiet place, meadow was specially mowed, you had endless space, there was a fridge with fresh eggs and yoghurt that you could buy. For an extra charge, a shower and toilet with a very adventurous ascent 😅 so we can really recommend this place!

The chicken meadow is a great parking space. A lot of space, even if several campers should be there. Great access to the creek that runs along the meadow. The place by the river is absolutely beautiful. We could also make a nice fire. We were there for 2 nights, the first night there was another camper there. After the second night there were a total of 5 vehicles with us in the morning, which surprised us a bit because according to the description there were only 3 parking spaces. Fantastically beautiful!! Even though there was a big celebration going on, we were allowed to come and stand by the river, fabulous! The chickens run free and are hardly shy. My 18m young child was fascinated and I was able to clean up or cook in peace - the river is not dangerous either. Dog loved it too. Super dear hosts, even got cake from the festival. Gladly again.
