About the site
This camping meadow is located between a farm and an idyllic horse paddock, very close to the popular "Steinhorster Becken" nature reserve, which is known nationwide as a local recreation area and is extremely popular with cyclists, hikers and nature lovers. There is enough space for your motorhome, caravan or tent on an area of around 2500 square meters. Cozy evenings can be spent by the fire bowl and electricity and water are available. The center of the small village is in the immediate vicinity. Here you will find a small shop for the most important purchases and breakfast rolls. A popular farm café is also within walking distance. The historic town center of Rietberg is about 8 km away by bike and offers plenty of variety with the site of the former state garden show, an outdoor pool, small pubs and restaurants. For nature lovers, there is not only the Steinhorst Basin on site, but also the recreation area around the Ems springs with its beautiful hiking trails 11km away or the Moosheide 10km away. If you would like to explore further, the historic Hermannsdenkmal (32km), the castle grounds in Schloß Neuhaus (18km) or the cathedral city of Paderborn (22km) are within cycling distance. Ein toller Stellplatz. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Buchung und der Aufenthalt war völlig unkompliziert. Vom Stellplatz aus kann man tolle Radtouren unternehmen. Jederzeit wieder

Ein Super Stellplatz ! Vielen Dank dafür. Die völlige Ruhe und Exklusivität dieses Ortes war schon super. Die sehr freundlichen und netten Gastgeber haben uns sofort begrüßt und alles Wichtige mitgeteilt. Wir hätten Strom und Wasser bekommen und eine Aussendusche nutzen können. Dies Angebote haben wir aber nicht in Anspruch genommen, da nicht benötigt. Auf großer Wiese, am Rande eines Maisfeldes durften wir uns selbst entscheiden, wie wir stehen wollten. Schatten durch große Eichen war auch mein Problem. Ein gigantisches Radwegenetz entlang des Steinhorster Beckens , ob nach Verl, Rietberg, Lippstadt, Schloss Holte oder Delbrück liegt quasi vor der Wohnmobil-Tür und sollte genutzt werden. Der Stellplatz ist für uns als Favorit gespeichert!

Wir waren ein zweites Mal bei Claudia & Michael und es hat sich wieder gelohnt. Der Platz liegt mitten im Grünen und bietet unter anderem Strom, Wasser und eine Außendusche. Es ist absolut ruhig und unmittelbar am Steinhorster Becken gelegen. Ein Muss ist es, Fahrräder mitzunehmen um die schöne Landschaft richtig zu erkunden.

Ein tolles Wochenende bei Claudia und Michael, der Platz ist absolut zu empfehlen. Unter den Eichen haben wir uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Michael ist ein zuvorkommender Gastgeber und hat uns perfekt eingewiesen. Wir kommen gern nochmal, danke.

Es war wunderschön bei Michael und Claudia! Ein toller, großer Platz mit Schatten und Sonne, ganz ruhig gelegen und sehr netten Gastgebern, die stets hilfsbereit sind. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Danke 😊
