About the site
Welcome to the Grünenplan Forestry Office - Welcome to the Lower Saxony State Forests. With our selected pitches, we want to make a further contribution to the recreational function of the forest and create a legal variant of camping in the middle of nature / right next to / in the forest. If you turn off the country road, you drive about a kilometer past fields and meadows until a few cattle greet you at your pitch (sometimes directly on the road). Your pitch is right in the middle of the green, surrounded by trees. The ground is partly gravel, partly green. This is an ideal starting point for long walks and hikes in the Duingen forest and the surrounding fields and meadows. If you are slowly running out of supplies in your camper, you can reach Duingen in just 2 km. Pure nature. Make your stay a real experience. Whether you are looking for peace and quiet, a nature lover, or an adventurer - there are no limits to your possibilities. Like all of our pitches, this one is also aimed at self-sufficient campers. Departure is normally at 10:00 a.m. If you stay two nights, you can of course stay. One more small tip: Our forests are popular with many, so other forest visitors can occasionally park on our remote pitches. Don't be surprised, some of the forest paths are occasionally used for forestry. Toller Stellplatz fern ab jeglichen Lärms. Früh morgen sind schon die Reitsportler unterwegs, aber es gab zu keiner Zeit irgendwelche Beanstandungen. Der Stellplatz eignet sich auch super um laufen zu gehen oder mit dem zu spazieren.

Der erste Abend war etwas erschreckend, denn unerwartet beschloss die örtliche Blaskapelle samt Cheerleeder hier zu üben....von 19 bis 22 Uhr. Das war anfangs lustig, aber gegen 22 Uhr war ich echt froh, dass Feierabend war. Ansonsten ist der Platz fantastisch und ich habe weiter verlängert. Ursprünglich wollte ich auch zwei Nächte am "Waldteich" stehen, das habe ich aber storniert nach Besichtigung, weil zwischen zwei Holzstapeln direkt an der Straße. Hier ist es herrlich ruhig, außer ein paar Hundespazierer und Radfahrern sieht man niemand. Der Empfang (wichtig für mich, weil ich Auto arbeite) ist gut. Werde gerne wiederkommen, danke für das tolle Angebot. Ruhig, unkompliziert und legal, genau das erwarte ich von einem Vansite Platz :-)
