Welcome to Smörhöga Gård, Sweden – with a restaurant, café and pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents in idyllic Småland in Sweden. Experience our unique surroundings steeped in history and nature. The farm is situated in open countryside on the edge of the forest – a peaceful, rural location for those seeking relaxation and authenticity in the Småland province. Restaurant & Cafe In our restaurant, we serve lovingly prepared Swedish home-style cooking – with a starter, main course, and dessert. Our homemade meatballs are especially popular! We also offer vegetarian dishes, fresh salads, and a lunch menu. During peak season, we have a liquor license for alcoholic beverages. In the café we will spoil you with homemade cakes – e.g. berry quiche with vanilla sauce or our famous chocolate cake with walnut topping. Enjoy your "fika hour" in the garden restaurant when the weather is nice, or in the comfortably heated dining room during the cooler seasons. 🌿 Welcome to Smörhöga Gård! Enjoy your stay with us in a peaceful, rural setting – right in the heart of Småland, Sweden. Smörhöga Gård is beautifully situated in nature, only about 7 km from Åsnen National Park. We wish you a relaxing and pleasant stay. To ensure all guests feel comfortable, we kindly ask you to be considerate of other guests, nature, and our farm. Our house rules Quiet Please be considerate of other guests and neighbors. Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please avoid loud music or other disturbing noises. Pets: Dogs and other pets are welcome – there are no additional costs. Maximum 2 pets per pitch. Pets must be kept on a leash and supervised at all times. Please clean up after your pet. Toilets and showers are included in the overnight price. Please leave these premises clean and tidy after use. Please be considerate of other guests. Electricity – Limited Availability We have four parking spaces with electricity hook-ups. If you require electricity, please indicate this when booking. Power supply is subject to availability; no guarantee can be given. Electricity is charged separately and is not included in the accommodation price. As the number of pitches with electricity is limited, we kindly ask you to book a pitch without electricity if possible. washroom If you would like to use the laundry room, please indicate this when making your booking. The fee is 75 SEK per wash. Payment is ideally made in cash (Swedish kroner, SEK) upon arrival. Card payments are possible during opening hours at the restaurant. Card payments are not possible outside of restaurant opening hours. Greywater and blackwater disposal: There are no waste disposal facilities on the Smörhöga Gård premises. Grey and black water can be disposed of at the community center (Föreningslokalen) in Grimslöv, which is about 2 km from the farm. This service incurs a fee, which must be paid directly on site at the disposal point. Waste and Environment: Please dispose of your waste in the designated areas. Please help us keep the yard clean and inviting. Be considerate of animals, nature, and the environment. Please take care of the buildings, plants, and other property on the property. Parking and security: Please drive carefully and slowly on the farm grounds. Please park only in the designated areas. When grilling, safety precautions must be taken; any applicable fire bans must also be strictly observed. Explore the surroundings Smörhöga Gård is an ideal starting point to explore the Småland landscape. Åsnen National Park – about 7 km from Smörhöga Gård. Enjoy the beautiful nature, the lakes and forests – a great place for hiking and nature experiences. Barbecue facilities are also available. Ride a bike Feel free to bring your bicycle! The surroundings are perfect for exploring on two wheels, allowing you to fully enjoy the Småland landscape. We offer several bicycles with three-speed gears for rent; please note that we require identification and a deposit for rental. Grocery store – approx. 2 km The nearest grocery store is in Grimslöv, only about 2 km from the farm. There is also a bank in Grimslöv should you need to withdraw cash. For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
Regardless of the selected cancellation policy and the type of booking, the VanSite service fee will be retained in full for every cancellation.
