About the site
Tenuta del Tempio Antico is located in a complex dating back to the 10th century AD, once used as a religious monastery by the Celestine Fathers and as a water mill. Expertly restored in 1990 with strict respect for the original style, today surrounded by beautiful parks, an oasis of tranquility. From the vineyards you can access a dirt cycle path that reaches the sea. The estate produces excellent white and red wines, sparkling wines, grappa, extra virgin olive oil, and honey. Tastings of wines and typical local products are available upon advance reservation. The camper parking area is gravel, surrounded by gardens, vineyards and olive trees, with a view of the sunset. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt auf diesem wunderschönen Anwesen. Die Parkanlage ist sehr gepflegt und man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Wenn man möchte kann man, Wein verkosten oder an einem Abendessen teilnehmen. Dies haben wir allerdings nicht gemacht, weil ich als stillende Mama leider kein Alkohol trinken kann und unsere Maus an den beiden Abenden recht früh ins Bett gegangen ist. Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal. :)
Wirklich ein wunderschönes Anwesen. Toll, dass man dort mit dem Camper stehen darf. Es gibt einen kleinen Shop mit Wein und Olivenöl aus eigener Herstellung. Wirklich bezaubernd! Duschen kostet 10 Euro pro Person. Das ist zu viel, zumal schon der Strom 15 Euro kostet. Aber der Stellplatz ist wunderbar. 🤗
