About the site
Meadow in front of the historic villa. Welcome to the filming location of many television productions. Please be sure to read the rules in full, as they also list a few booking conditions. Acknowledgment of the rules must be confirmed in writing in one sentence when booking (e.g.: I accept the rules of the campsite, which I have read). Thank you. (We also speak English, Dutch and Spanish) Ideal for day trips to Cologne or an overnight stopover if you are looking for a quick parking space with a nearby motorway connection. From here you can easily explore the city of Cologne with all its sights. For example, the Cologne Cathedral, a world heritage site, exciting sites from Roman times to the present day, or the old town with its narrow streets and breweries. For football fans: The very nice clubhouse of 1. FC Köln with restaurants, fan shop and training pitches is only about 1km away in the nearby park. The Cologne city limits are only about 500m away and the Cologne-Klettenberg motorway junction is about 1 km away. By bus (stop 100m away) or tram (stop 500m away), you can quickly reach the center of Cologne. Even by bike, it's only 5 minutes into the city, although I personally wouldn't recommend it unless you're used to city traffic. Electricity is provided at €0.50 per kWh. Water is provided at €1 per 100 l (or part thereof). If you need to quickly restock your supplies, you'll find plenty of shopping options within a 500-meter radius (Aldi, Lidl, Penny, REWE, a Turkish supermarket, bakeries, and more). And if you don't have the time or inclination to cook in a hurry, there are also a few restaurants nearby, ranging from Asian to Cologne-style to fast food. The parking space is located directly behind the high hedge of the property, between the villa and the road. In the evenings, the road is relatively quiet and not very busy, but during the day it can get louder and bustling. This makes it ideal as a stopover for a rest after a long drive, or for weekend day trips to Cologne. For those seeking a quieter and more pleasant stay, we recommend the parking space on the meadow next to the villa, if available. We look forward to your visit, Katrin and Marcus

Site rules
Parking space rules: Electricity is provided at €0.50/kWh. Water is available at €1.00/100 liters (partially used). Barbecues and campfires are not allowed. - Please no loud music etc. in the parking space. - Not a party location for stag parties etc. - From 10 pm onwards, normal quiet hours must be observed; please behave in a way that does not disturb the neighbors. - No delivery service orders to our address. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash and not allowed to roam freely on the premises. However, there are plenty of parks nearby where your four-legged friend can run and play to their heart's content. Dog waste must be removed immediately. - Should filming happen to be taking place on the premises during the daytime during your stay, This must definitely be taken into account. Same-day bookings are not possible. Booking requests must be made by 12 noon the day before. Bookings are accepted a maximum of 6 months in advance. - Only bookings that include the vehicle registration number, vehicle type and a telephone number will be accepted. - No more than 3 consecutive nights can be booked directly. More nights only by prior arrangement. - Maximum 4 people. Arrival from 2 pm to 6 pm (but we are usually flexible, please call if necessary). Departure by 11 am. - No arrivals on Sundays and public holidays.

Marcus is super friendly and easy-going. I was only there for one night, and it was very convenient that the parking space was in front of the house and freely accessible. So it didn't matter that I didn't park until later in the evening. The site is right on a narrow street, but it's screened off. For anyone who's a light sleeper like me, I recommend earplugs. I had a great night's sleep with them and would happily come back.

Cancellation policy
For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
