About the site
Next to the boathouse by the lake, very beautiful location. Very beautiful location next to a lake that is suitable for swimming, fishing and paddling. Quiet peaceful location, here you can hear the silence, the lapping of the waves, the chirping of birds, feel the lovely scents and just enjoy. This is a quiet place where both adults, children and animals find peace. There are paths and roads for hiking, cycling. Hike one of our paths, 2 of which are marked with instructions and information. It is a forest road the last few kilometers to the site. Not suitable for more than normal high-speed vehicles. Several wind shelters to grill at by the lake are available. Detailed map is in the photos. Site rules
Be considerate, keep nature clean, keep dogs on a leash. Do not use "private" areas. Contact the owner if necessary for any support and guidance. Your own camping toilet is required. The area is a protected nature reserve. The water in the lake is completely clean but may need to be boiled during algae blooms. In Torsby municipality, you can empty greywater at the municipal parking lot in Torsby city center by the old railway station. Your little red cottage is private property.

We liked the spot so much that we ended up staying another night. Carina is a super friendly host—she just asked if we had found everything okay. The hiking trail with all the little signs was a lot of fun, and the view from the top over the lake is totally worth it. The nearby ski area also has some great hikes. And the best part? We actually saw a moose! So make sure to drive slow and keep your eyes open 😉

The spot is absolutely amazing, right by the lake. All you hear are the sounds of nature, and the view over the lake is just stunning. We brought our canoe and paddled across the lake a few times. It’s just perfect if you’re looking for total peace and relaxation. We were really glad the second spot (owned by the host) wasn’t booked, because otherwise people would’ve been camping about 100 meters right behind us. We’ll definitely remember this beautiful place and would love to come back!

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
