Our parking space is located in the beautiful Weserbergland, 50 meters from the Weser. We offer space for 1 van/camper on firm and flat ground. Power connection included. Fresh water if required and upon request. The Weser ferry runs in the immediate vicinity between Reinhardshagen in Hesse and Hemeln in Lower Saxony. The ferry is operated without any motor power, only with the current from the Weser and a high wire. The cable ferry has been in operation for around 650 years. Reinhardshagen is the gateway to the legendary Reinhardswald with, among other things, the Sleeping Beauty Castle, nature park, Sababurg Zoo, primeval forest and much more. The 520 km long Weser cycle path runs along the parking space and offers wonderful stages for cyclists. Water sports enthusiasts will also get their money's worth on the upper reaches of the Weser. For example, you can go SUP or canoeing in Hann. Münden onto the water and get out again directly near the parking space. There is a lot to see and experience nearby: Historic old town of Hann. Münden Boat trips with excursion boats Brothers Grimm fairytale world Skywalk Bad Karlshafen DocumentaStadt Kassel with Hercules, UNESCO World Heritage Site Bergpark Outdoor pool in the town to name a small selection. Whether you are a nature lover looking for peace and quiet, an athlete, an active holidaymaker or someone interested in culture The town offers various shopping options within walking distance (REWE, EDEKA, NETTO, etc.). There is also a hotel with a restaurant in the immediate vicinity. Take the ferry across the Weser and you are sitting in a rustic beer garden by the water. You are on the premises of KlemmVan Die Camper Manufaktur, an individual builder of exceptional camper vans. So if you would like to look over our shoulders while we work or need tips and tricks for your camper, you are more than welcome.
