About the site

Site rules
Dogs must be kept on a leash on the farm (nice walking paths around the outside). No smoking near buildings (straw/hay etc.). No urinating in public (including using the toilet). Respect for animals and everyday farm life. The rules of conduct on a farm must be strictly observed for safety reasons. These will be explained on arrival. Children must always be supervised away from the camp (safety reasons: animals/machines/vehicles/risk of injury...)

We are happy to offer tours of our farm. You can see our chickens (including egg collection) guarded by guard dogs; our heifers and bulls in pastures and in our open barn; our pigs in our open barn; and the sheep that surround you. We are happy to explain our approach to organic farming.

Bicycles
You can rent bikes from us to cycle to the village, the lake, or the city. All are easily accessible via the nearby bike path. The bikes are new and in good condition. Price per day.

Mein zwei jähriger war hin und weg. Er durfte die Kühe und Hunde streicheln und sogar mit zu den Hühner Eier sammeln. Die beiden waren wirklich sehr Kinder freundlich. Wir standen Schattig abseits der Kühe, so daß wir eine ruhige Nacht hatten. Die Dusche und WC im Haus sind gepflegt und jederzeit zugänglich gewesen. Die Hunde laufen teilweise frei auf dem Gelände rum und Bällen nachts des öfteren.

Max ist ein äußerst sympathischer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Wir sind direkt nach unserer Ankunft ins Gespräch gekommen, als ob wir uns schon Jahre kennen würden. Ein wunderbarer Empfang. Dazu noch Tips und Mobilitäs-Hilfestellung für die Therme in Biberach. Dass wir die ersten Gäste von Sophie und Max 2025 auf dem #hofladensteigmueller sein durften, war toll. Bei freier „Platzwahl“ haben wir windgeschützt in der Scheune gestanden und hatten eine tolle Kulisse mitten auf dem Bauernhof! Wir sagen „Dankeschön“ und wünschen einen guten Saisonstart!
