About the site
The quiet parking space is located on the edge of my recreational property. I'm working on an alternative living and self-sufficiency project here. Enjoy the panoramic view across the surrounding fields and climb the small "hill" in the middle of the property. The property is the site of the former municipal pumping station. For this reason, there is a small hill there, which contains a water tank. The old pump house has also been preserved and serves as the basis for an independent power supply using solar and wind energy. In under 10 minutes you can visit the beautiful half-timbered town of Grabow on the Elde river, in 20 minutes Ludwigslust, and in 30 minutes Schwerin. Whether canoeing or walking in the woods, everything is possible here. Depending on the season, I'm happy to provide you with fresh treats from my own garden for a small fee. Parking space: You can set up camp in the meadow directly to the left of the gate, or opposite the pump house. You'll also find a small fire pit there.

Mount Elvis is a charming spot where, whether alone or in a small group, you can find peace in nature and feel unobserved. The nature on the property is still wild, so you don't feel like you're on a campsite with designated plots. The property is fenced in, meaning dogs can't run away. There are magnificent sunrises and sunsets and a fantastic night sky. The owner is really friendly, and communication was very easy for us. There's a fire pit where you can sit and cook, even in a larger group. Fresh water is available. A few other things, such as poles for stringing up a hammock and a small house for washing up, are planned; the owner is a camper himself and open to other people's ideas. Be careful, Google Maps sends you towards the campsite about 150m too early, just drive a little further and then turn right between two large trees on the avenue behind or before the Prislich exit sign, depending on which direction you're coming from. You then drive about 150 meters along a dirt road and arrive at a gate. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back. Thanks to the operator for this lovingly furnished campsite. :)
