A parking space facing the sunset on the outskirts of the most beautiful village in the southern Vienna Basin, with a vibrant wine tavern culture and the Siegersdorf brewery within walking distance. Nature and village life right on your doorstep, yet Vienna is easily accessible. It's a natural piece of land, part of which is mowed, so please don't expect a manicured lawn. Excellent wine taverns (please look up the term in an Austrian dictionary if needed 😉) and a rarely open, but all the more popular, brewery serving regional culinary delights are within walking distance! Furthermore, a playground and church are located right in the village: a unique, very livable, and peaceful rural setting for families. Near the A3 motorway exit Pottendorf, yet nice and quiet: Siegersdorf in the municipality of Pottendorf in the district of Baden (you only get there if you're looking for it, everyone else drives past and that's a good thing :-) Approximately 20 minutes to the Vienna city limits (Southern Motorway/Tangente/Triester Straße) or SCS (Shopping City Süd) They are situated amidst smaller towns and cities that offer a welcome respite from the sometimes overcrowded hustle and bustle of Vienna: Baden, Bad Vöslau, Wiener Neustadt, Eisenstadt, and others offer indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The thermal baths in Bad Vöslau, Bad Fischau, Baden, and Aqua Nova are particularly recommended. Cinemas are also available in the aforementioned towns. Other destinations for excursions: Nature walks and completely flat bike tours are possible right in the village, to Lake Haschendorf, the Had, along the Fischa to its source, into Burgenland via the Leitha or to the Wiener Neustadt Canal by bicycle. Neighboring towns with wine culture, such as Tattendorf, Deutsch Brodersdorf and Leithaprodersdorf, are also not far away and come highly recommended. 10 minutes (by car) or 25 minutes (by bicycle) to Lake Neufeld with its beautiful lido. For children: Dumba Park with climbing park, dinosaurs and butterfly house in the neighboring town of Tattendorf. It is also not far to Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland with its great tourist attractions: St. Margarethen, Familypark for children, Rust, Mörbisch, summer festival,… and Leitha Mountains. Schneeberg and Rax are within sight and somewhat faster and closer to reach than from Vienna. Public transport options include the railway station in Ebenfurth and Pottendorf nearby (the Pottendorf line goes to Vienna, Sopron or Bratislava without changing trains) and the bus directly in Siegersdorf. Supermarkets Billaplus, Bipa, Eurospar, Penny, doctors, pharmacies, a beautiful castle park with castle ruins in neighboring Pottendorf Speaking of shopping: those who appreciate less frequented pedestrian zones and shopping centers will find several in 15 minutes to the south in Wiener Neustadt (EKZ Neustadt Nord, Fischapark,…) or in Eisenstadt 20 minutes (EZE, beautiful pedestrian zone,…), Baden or even Sopron/Ödenburg in Hungary can be reached in 30 minutes.
