I was there in August and was the only one. It's quiet and relaxed, but also looks a bit run-down in places. There was a lot of algae in the lake, so it wasn't particularly inviting for swimming (although it's possible). Still, all in all, a good spot close to the coast.
A very nice place situated by a small lake with water and electricity. The best part was meeting some really great people, and Giovanni, in particular, is a very kind and hospitable host. It's a shame his restaurant is now closed; we would have loved to have experienced that. His dog, Homer, is so sweet and well-behaved, we could have taken him home with us. 🥰 We would love to come back
We had a wonderful time here! We had the entire property to ourselves and really enjoyed exploring, swimming, and being out in nature. Our dog also had a blast running around freely. Smeraldo is a great host; communicating with him was quick and easy; he even bought us a drink 😊 His dog, Homer, is incredibly sweet; we loved spending time with him. The street noise really doesn't bother us at all, as it's mostly masked by the other animal noises. However, one star is deducted solely because the photos and descriptions of this campsite are not up to date: The restaurant is closed and the grounds are deserted. There are essentially no restroom facilities (only a cold outdoor shower and toilets in the restaurant, which can only be used when Smeraldo is on site). Therefore, it's advisable to camp here only if you're as self-sufficient as possible. But then, it's beautiful here; we would definitely come back! Thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay!
If you love nature, this is the perfect place, surrounded by greenery on the shores of a small lake. We were there on May 1st and were alone..... Wonderful! The owner is very friendly.
