About the site
Parking space right at the edge of the forest. Bathrooms cannot be booked with this pitch!!! A composting toilet house is available. The garden sauna can be booked on site for €28 (per day). There are 3 Cameroon sheep and 20 chickens with 4 roosters nearby! Electricity costs €3 per day. Fresh water is available. Wastewater can be disposed of in the village. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Barbecues and campfires are possible in the existing fire bowl, weather permitting, by prior arrangement (fire hazard, close to the forest). Firewood for a pleasant evening is available for five euros. It's an ideal starting point for cycling tours in the Odenwald forest. Babenhausen and its surrounding villages are part of the German Timber-Frame Road, and the town boasts a castle, a regional museum, and other attractions. Der Platz ist toll, hat viel Atmosphäre und ist vielseitig gestaltet. Andreas ist ein toller Gastgeber und man merkt, dass er auch Camper ist - er weiß, worauf es ankommt! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit und ich komme bestimmt wieder :-)

Ein schöner und ruhiger Platz im Grünen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Ein idyllisches und naturintensives Plätzchen zwischen Pferden, Ziegen und Hühnern vor den Toren von der Großstadt Frankfurt. Es gibt viel Platz, jeder kann sich frei entfalten. Der Gastgeber Andreas " ist der Hammer ", er hat hier alles ökologisch (aber nicht alternativ) mit viel Detailliebe hergerichtet. Der Blumen-/und Gemüsegarten und das Toilettenhaus mit Streu-Klo sind genial. Weitere selbstgebaute Möbel auf der Wiese laden zum Probieren ein. Es ist absolut ruhig - die totale Entspannung. Ich komme bestimmt wieder. P.S. Nur ca. 3 km bis Babenhausen Zentrum, ideal mit dem Rad.
