About the site
Welcome Stopover, switch off, recover, relax. In nature, where deer and hares greet each other by the stream. You've found just that beautiful spot with us. We live on our farm with three generations. Both German and English are spoken here. You can set up your vehicle on our large orchard. Just a few minutes' walk away, you'll find the nature trail leading to our flowering meadow, which is located directly next to a stream. You can cross it via a small wooden footbridge to continue experiencing nature. We also have a lot to offer for the kids. A sports field and a playground are nearby, ensuring there's plenty of entertainment. A fire pit is available for lovely summer evenings. Just a few minutes' walk away, you can purchase regional products at a farm shop (open 24 hours). Cyclists will love the beautiful cycle paths, such as the Weser Cycle Path or the Mill Wheel Tour. And that's by no means all of them. Other excursion destinations include: - The Westphalian Industrial Museum Glashütte in Gernheim (glassblowing arts and crafts) - The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial in Porta Westfalica - The Great Peat Bogs (Uchte and Hille) - The Minden waterway junction We look forward to your visit.

Das ist ein wunderbarer Platz,sehr ordentlich und sauber,alles vorhanden.Der Gastgeber ist freundlich, hilfsbereit Tip top.Der Platz ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen,die Möglichkeiten zum Radfahren sind hervorragend.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen. Es ist alles da was man braucht :) Wir werden nicht das letzte Mal dort gewesen sein.

Herzlicher Empfang und rundum entspannt Wir wurden gestern Abend noch nach 21 Uhr freundlich empfangen – vom Besitzer und von Brutus, dem zotteligen Hofhund (ein echter Braunbär auf vier Pfoten – aber ganz lieb und zutraulich!). Der Stellplatz liegt ruhig, mit gepflegter Toilette, Dusche und Frischwasser – alles in super Zustand. In Fuß- bzw. Radnähe gibt es einen kleinen Hofladen (geöffnet von 7–22 Uhr), in dem man sich bequem per Bezahlautomat mit regionalen Produkten eindecken kann – richtig praktisch! Wir standen fast ganz alleine, konnten ausschlafen und die Ruhe genießen. Es gibt einen kleinen Spielplatz sowie einen Lagerfeuerplatz mit Grillmöglichkeit, und Strom wäre bei Bedarf auch verfügbar gewesen. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir noch ein nettes Schwätzchen mit zwei Generationen der Hofbesitzer geführt und tolle Tipps für Spaziergänge bekommen. Ein unkomplizierter, ehrlicher Ort mit viel Gastfreundschaft – wir kommen gerne wieder!
