If you're already grinning or sharpening your axe or checking your sunscreen stocks, we've probably done EVERYTHING right.... Just come over, say "Mellon," and take a seat in the throne room.... +++++++++++++++++++++++ Our pitch is in an absolutely secluded location with no other campers. You are standing in Walhalla right next to our horse pasture with battle horses, and DIRECTLY on a rustic river in the heart of the historically Germanic Lipperland. The rooster wakes you up, not the cell phone. We have the Externsteine, the Hermannsdenkmal, the Donoper Teiche and the "Real Germans". Walhalla doesn't offer a commercial campsite with 5* sanitary facilities, a well-maintained, flat English lawn, or potted geraniums, BUT it does offer you the REAL vanside feeling.... That's exactly what you want! LET'S GO > A natural sandy beach on both sides of the ship invites you to Kattegat romance and the cold, clear water conjures up a complexion that even Baldur would be jealous of! The large trees provide shade and with a bit of luck and peace and quiet you will be visited by the kingfisher, the nutria, our sand lizards, the pheasant Günni, the tame drake, fairies and dwarves. Take your time and enjoy the sight of the fireflies and listen to the grasshoppers! ☆☆ Beautiful decoration in Nordic style and lots of fairy lights in the old trees create a Viking feeling by day and night ☆☆ The clatter of hooves, the snorting of horses, the singing of birds and the splashing of the nearby waterfall provide the final ultimatum: freedom in Valhalla. You can take a path from the pitch to sit directly by the waterfall and simply relax or watch the two horses in the pasture or paddock trail. With a tent you can even camp up to 1m directly on the water. Our Walhalla has an area of about 1/4 hectare, fenced with wire mesh. Our Viking boat, the Ragnarök, is SOLID and DURABLE, mounted on a tree stump. With a view over the stream and meadow, it is the perfect sun deck and invites you to chill out or rob, murder and burn.... With us you can enjoy peace and the idyll of the Shire, Valhalla or wherever you want to be. Loud parties are not welcome here... The pitch can only be booked once, so you are completely ALONE, UNOBSERVED by other campers. But we have our Prancing Pony... There is a small tip shop right on the square where we stock cutlery, lighters, information about the square, sightseeing, drinks, canned goods, tea, books and anything else you might forget. +++++++++++++++++++++++ Arrival from 3.30pm/ Departure until 11.30am +++++++++++++++++++ You should know: Opposite the square behind the stream, the Lippe Regionalbahn (Lippische Regionalbahn) runs occasionally, more or less audible and visible depending on the foliage. (Not at night) Walhalla is three-quarters hidden by a large slope and cannot be seen. +++++++++++++++++++++ Since we are very busy with work, we cannot wait for your arrival.
