The parking space is located on the property behind the former Deutsche Eiche restaurant in Scheden. (Caution: If the grass is very wet, please do not drive on it but stay on paved surfaces. Thank you.) The building is currently under renovation, so the property may be messy at times... Campers can use the restrooms of the former inn – the key code will be provided upon booking. Just across the street is the Scheden shop, which sells fresh rolls during the week, among other things. It's 800 meters to a Netto supermarket for larger purchases. There are also two regional farm vending machines in town (one right around the corner). Unfortunately, there is no longer a pub or restaurant in the village – the nearest dining options are in Dransfeld or Hann. Münden.
