About the site
Our farm is in Abtenau in the Unterberg district. We are located about 3 km outside of town, very conveniently close to many hiking trails and excursion destinations such as the Kneipp facility, waterfalls, alpine huts and much more. My family and our dog Chicco live on the farm. We keep cows, sheep, turkeys and a horse. The animals live on the alpine pasture in the summer, however.

We have no special rules that go beyond the good behavior of a guest. Please refrain from playing loud music, take your rubbish home with you and do not drink excessively (the pitch is on my farm and of course my children run around too). To avoid accidents, it is forbidden to enter the farm buildings and the fertilizer storage area (manure area).

Zwischenstopp für eine Nacht, absolut empfehlenswert! Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht auf die Berge ist einfach traumhaft, perfekt zum Entspannen nach einem Reisetag. Der Platz war ruhig und gepflegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein schöner und sehr ruhiger Platz mit toller Bergkulisse. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen (Wasserfälle, Alm). Josef war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen sicher wieder.

Ich war zum wiederholten Mal hier und hatte drei erholsame Tage hier auf dem Hof. Der Platz ist traumhaft schön, sehr ruhig und bietet ein spektakuläres Bergpanorama. Direkt vom Platz aus kann man tolle Wanderungen zu Wasserfällen oder der bewirtschafteten Rocher Alm machen, eine schattige Natur-Kneipp-Anlage und das Heimatmuseum sind ebenfalls fussläufig erreichbar. Josef und seine Frau sind supernett und hilfsbereit. Als meine Sachen nach einer Wanderung im Regen mass waren, hat Josef die alte Küche eingeheizt und alles war am nächsten Tag trocken. Es gibt ein WC und ein Bad mit Waschbecken, alles sehr sauber. Wenn man freundlich fragt und Josef Zeit zum Einheizen ist, kann man auch duschen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Auf Josef's Hof fühlten wir uns absolut willkommen. Es ist ein ruhiger Ort um zu entspannen und auch ein paar schöne Wanderungen zu unternehmen. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
