About the site
Camping in the Sauerland region means a pure nature experience: From your pitch in Eslohe-Wenholthausen, near the Sauerland-Höhenflug trail, you can enjoy the view of a horse paddock and the forests and mountains of the Sauerland beyond. Despite the tranquility, you won't have to forgo essential amenities: We provide electricity on the camping meadow (a total of 11 pitches), which, by the way, is bathed in sunshine all day long. The nearest facilities are located in Eslohe and Meschede. Our campsite in Wenholthausen is the ideal base for your hiking or cycling holiday in the Sauerland region. If you'd like to combine camping between Schmallenberg and Winterberg with a hike on the Sauerland-Höhenflug trail or a bike tour on the SauerlandRadring cycle route, our campsite in Wenholthausen is the perfect place for you. From here, you can easily access the popular hiking trails and cycling routes through the Sauerland. At our "Seemers Campingplatz im Grünen" campsite in the Sauerland region, you can enjoy the comfort of our hotel and restaurant while still sleeping in your own private caravan. We really enjoyed our time. The pitch offered to us was impassable, and we were stuck. The Seemer family didn't offer any assistance, but all the campers on site helped us. Thank you so much for that; that's just between us! But we were given an alternative place straight away and it was very good! Everything your heart desires is there, except for the possibility of emptying the toilet. The breakfast at the inn is MEGA!! Dinner wasn't that great. There were only four dishes, and none of them were our favorites. For over 60 euros for two people, we weren't really full. But there's a good alternative next door. One star deducted for the church right next door. The bells robbed us of our sleep at night, so we probably won't come back.

A beautiful little campsite nestled in the countryside, right next to a stream. Very friendly operators with excellent food, super-clean restrooms, and an ideal environment for hiking and cycling. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back!!!!!

We received a very friendly welcome. The meadow behind the inn is absolutely idyllic. You can see a horse paddock and hear a babbling stream. It's truly beautiful. The inn serves dinner and, upon reservation, breakfast. The place is not only recommended for one night.
