It was built around 1850 and was used as a farm. The village of Smedager is located in beautiful Southern Jutland, also known as: --- THE LAND BETWEEN THE SEAS --- The small village of Smedager (translated as "blacksmith") is surrounded by meadows and fields. Storks are nesting nearby (on the neighboring property), as they do every year. It's a beautiful and, unfortunately, all too rare experience to be able to observe them. Your motorhome, campervan, or caravan is parked on an alpaca meadow, where you can experience and observe the animals up close. Motorhomes up to 6m can park on the alpaca meadow. There's plenty to discover in the surrounding area, including Møgeltønder, with its old alleys and quaint, lovingly restored little houses, the castle garden, and much more. In Tønder, there are many lovely shops and the famous pharmacy. Højer is also worth a visit. For nature lovers, there are nature reserves to explore, or you can drive to the North Sea in 20 minutes, with its idyllic, almost deserted beaches, and of course, not to forget Rømø... Highly appreciated by sand yachtsmen and surfers with its endless, beautiful sandy beaches, where you can drive your car almost to the sea.
