About the site

Our small farm is idyllically situated directly on the Mittelland Canal, amidst fields and farms in the northern Münsterland / Tecklenburg region. From here, you can set off on hikes right away; hiking trails are right outside our door. Take a dip in the canal or enjoy endless bike rides. Climbing areas and the Teutoburg Forest, with the start of the Hermannsweg trail and the Teutoschleifen trail network, are nearby. Münsterland and Tecklenburg invite you to visit countless castles, palaces, and country estates. Osnabrück, Münster, and the beautiful town of Tecklenburg are quickly accessible by car. Here, you'll hear the hooting owl at night, and if you're lucky, deer might be outside your window in the morning. Thanks to a large bird sanctuary nearby, our garden is also a playground for all kinds of birds. We have our own orchard and farm chickens. You can purchase our own farm produce (eggs, honey, fruit) depending on the season and availability. Bakeries and village shops are nearby. Upon request, we offer yoga classes and sound journeys with our on-site yoga teacher. It was absolutely wonderful at Olaf's. A completely peaceful spot, right on the canal. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll find it here. There are two pitches, both with electricity, which are truly fantastic. The bike path along the canal is a maximum of two minutes away, and the mini-supermarket is a five-minute bike ride away. It's also open on Sundays. We'll definitely be back!
