About the site
The parking space in the courtyard is paved. The adjacent seating area in front of and in the log cabin can be used. Large garden with adjacent open fields and forest. Rhine and old Rhine arms approx. 3 km, quarry lake approx. 2 km away. From the farm it is 100 m to the pizzeria, 150 m to the ice cream parlor and 200 m to the organic farm shop (open Fri/Sat). Speyer offers many sights (cathedral, SEE LIFE, technology museum, medieval Jewish courtyard, historical museum, memorial church, etc.) approx. 7 km.

We had a wonderful time at Judith & Jürgen's in Mechtersheim. The space right in the courtyard is large and wide enough, and we had no problems getting in and out with our 7-meter motorhome. Since the property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, it is very quiet (no traffic or anything similar) and you hardly hear any noise from the neighbors either. Judith & Jürgen are very friendly hosts and are particularly interested in ensuring their guests' well-being and that everything runs smoothly. You can even use the log cabin and outdoor area in the garden. From Mechtersheim you can enjoy a relaxing bike ride to Speyer, Germersheim, Hockenheim, etc. We'd love to come back again when we're in the region.

The campsite was nice and spacious and quiet. Judith, Jürgen, and Dunja are super friendly hosts. We cycled from the campsite to the AC DC concert at the Hockenheimring. It was a fantastic evening. Best wishes from Vöhringen.
