About the site
We live in the beautiful town of Stemwede, 32351. It's located in East Westphalia, near the beautiful Teutoburg Forest, between the Weser River and Lake Dümmer. We have 2-3 pitches for motorhomes, campers, caravans, tents, etc. A toilet, shower, and electricity are available. Fresh water can also be refilled at any time, and wastewater can be disposed of. The farm is located in a rural setting with many animals such as chickens, horses, donkeys, etc., directly on the Stemwede Hill. Just a few meters away, you can take lovely walks either in the hill itself or in the Diepholz Moor. In autumn, you can also watch the cranes gather. Numerous cranes gather in the moor before migrating south. This event is simply spectacular, worth seeing, and should not be missed. Even in summer, you can explore the quiet area by bike and even take a short detour to Lake Dümmer. This can be quickly reached via a beautiful cycling network. Lake Dümmer offers numerous opportunities to enjoy a small snack, an ice cream, play mini golf, or simply relax on the small beaches. The Weser River also boasts beautiful waterfront bike paths, which are quickly accessible by car. In the evenings, there's plenty of space to set up a seating area outside with sufficient distance and even have a barbecue. Nearby shops are just a few minutes away by car. If you've forgotten to pick up something for Sunday, a nearby gas station with an attached supermarket offers shopping opportunities even on Sundays and public holidays. A truly special experience! If you love country life, this is the place for you. From the very beginning, we felt very safe and secure and were given a very warm welcome every time. Among all the animals, it was pure joy for us, and despite the mixed weather, we lacked nothing. We were able to develop freely, so it felt like all doors were open to us. Even the very little ones are catered for, and everything is perfectly arranged for young families here, too! We would love to come back and would be thrilled if a suitable opportunity arises soon. Thank you so much for the wonderful time!

A superb spot on a farm with lots of animals. A warm and welcoming host couple. We'd love to come back!

A cute farm with some animals that children will find particularly interesting. The owners are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. We spent a weekend with Dennis and Anna in a rooftop tent. The site is large enough to put up the awning or sit comfortably outside. You can explore the nearby Stemweder Berg on foot. You'll need to be mobile (by bike or similar) for shopping or to go to the moor, as it's a few kilometers from the site. Then you know what you've walked when you get back.

After a warm welcome, we were free to choose where to set up camp. A large meadow offers plenty of sunny and shady spots. Electricity was available. The common room has a spacious bathroom with a shower and toilet. The nearest bakery can be reached in 10 minutes by bike. For animal lovers like us, it's a little paradise with chickens, rabbits, and sweet kittens, who even recently had six kittens. They were just beginning to explore the world with their big blue eyes.
