About the site
The pitch is located on a small, fenced meadow near the water. The forest begins here, yet the city is still very close. Bus and S-Bahn trains are within walking distance, as are the Köpenick and Friedrichshagen neighborhoods with their cafés and shops. The forest and river begin right outside the door. Hiking, water sports, cycling, or immersing yourself in cosmopolitan city life—all of this is possible here. Be careful when entering. The road eventually becomes a sandy track with deep potholes. From the sandy track, take the first sharp left turn, then the second right turn, until you reach the sliding gate. There is a composting toilet, as well as water and electricity (electricity at an additional cost).

Vorab: Ich finde es perfekt! Man steht auf Werners Grundstück auf einer Lichtung umgeben von Wald direkt am Wasser. Das Gelände ist gerade, grün und urig. Man hat viel Platz. Die Nacht war sehr ruhig. Der einzige “Störenfried” war eine Nachtigall. Wasser, Strom und Toilette sind auch hier, aber hab ich nicht benutzt. Die City und das schöne Köpenick sind von hier aus per Fahrrad und den „Öffis“ perfekt zu erreichen. Ich hab gleich mal drei Nächte verlängert….TOP!!!!
Werner is a very friendly host who gave me a warm welcome right from the start. The campsite is very easy to reach and is located in a quiet residential area. The nights here were very relaxing and peaceful. There's also electricity, fresh water, and an outside toilet that's very private. You can also get to downtown Berlin very quickly by bike. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back.
We took a weekend trip to Berlin with our kids and were able to stay with Werner and his family. The location is perfect! The property is right on the Spree River, and we were in Mitte by public transport in about 45 minutes. We had a really lovely weekend. Thank you so much for this great spot, we would definitely come back! 🍀
