About the site
The parking space is behind our garden on the edge of a field in the middle of nature. The view sweeps towards the south and west. To the southwest you can see a wonderful mixed forest that always reminds me of Sweden. The Baltic Sea is just under 6km away (Olympic Harbor Schilksee, Strande, Bülk Lighthouse). The city center of Kiel with the beautiful promenade on the Kiel Inner Fjord is about 12km away and can also be easily reached by bike. In Kiel Holtenau you can sit and feast on the Thiessenkai or start a tour along the Kiel Canal. There are beautiful beaches and the cliffs are also within cycling distance.

Site rules
Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. There are no toilets and guests are asked not to do their business on the lawn, which is used as animal feed. Dog droppings are also asked to be picked up.

What a great spot! Axel and his family welcomed us so warmly and were very helpful. The site is quiet and idyllic, and Kiel is easy to explore from there.

We had a fantastic stay at Axel's. After it rained heavily the day before our planned stay, making it impossible to mow the lawn and the pitch, Axel spontaneously provided us with a pitch in his very spacious yard. Since Axel's farm is located just outside of Altenholz, it's super quiet. And for a trip to Kiel or the Baltic Sea cliffs, it's just a stone's throw away. Another particularly noteworthy feature is the direct bus connection to Kiel from Altenholz, meaning you can leave your camper van behind. Highly recommended!

Cancellation policy
For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
