The parking space is in a wonderful location with a view of the Wasserkuppen (the highest mountain in Hesse) in the Steinwand district of 36163 Poppenhausen. Quiet, isolated farm location with access to beautiful hiking trails. 4 restaurants are within easy walking distance (1-2 km)

I enjoyed a wonderful stay with a fantastic view of the Wasserkuppe. Alex and Georg are very friendly and accommodating hosts. The peace and quiet is unbeatable; apart from the chirping of crickets and the rustling of leaves, nothing could be heard, and our little cat occasionally visited. The site has no shade and is a bit sloping, but it's easy to level out with wedges. The art mile on the way to the house is fantastic, as are the hiking opportunities directly from the house. I felt very comfortable with you - thank you very much - I'd be happy to come again 👍☀️ 🚐

A very beautifully situated site. You're in a completely peaceful natural setting with cows as neighbors. From the site, you have a direct view of the Wasserkuppe, there are several huts nearby, and a hike up the Milseburg is worth it with a fantastic view. One star deducted because the address provided was unfortunately still incorrect. The destination was 1.5 km different from the given address, and we wandered around quite aimlessly.

The view from the campsite is truly breathtaking! There are great hiking trails all around; my dog loved them too 😄. Communication with the hosts was very friendly yet unobtrusive, so I was able to fully enjoy the peace and quiet. I really enjoyed it and would stop by Georg's again anytime.

This is exactly what we had imagined. A quiet spot with a great view of the Wasserkuppe. Good hiking and cycling trails. Very friendly hosts.

Everything was as described. A nice spot (a bit sloping—better with wheel chocks), a very friendly host, and, of course, a beautiful view. However, the GPS coordinates are still not correct; it's better to follow the address on your navigation system.
