Dear campers, from April to September we kindly ask you to book a minimum of 2 nights on weekends – thank you for your understanding. You can camp on our orchard meadow on the south side of the farm, with space for up to 10 people. Children and dogs are very welcome. Important note: The bathroom must always be booked separately. Unfortunately, the app cannot display this differently, so here's the full breakdown: The VanSite price of €39/night includes an additional €11/night for the private bathroom (toilet/shower). We do not rent the site without a bathroom. Fruit trees of old, now rare varieties have stood in the meadow for 80–100 years; as part of a NABU orchard project, we have replanted many more old varieties. When nature is bountiful, you are welcome to help yourselves to the fruit and berries. Mill tower and wildlife 🐦🐇🐐 Our mill tower (built at the end of the 1800s) lost its sails early on due to a fire; later, the mill was powered by a combined heat and power plant. Today, the tower is a historical monument and a nesting site for kestrels – in spring, you can often observe the young. At night, you'll hear owls, and during the day, many songbirds and corvids. Hares and pheasants frolic in the meadows, and with a bit of luck, you might spot a deer. We also live with our two elderly goats, Azrael and Lavender, and our cat, Katinka, who even comes along on holiday in our 40-year-old camper van. Sounds and atmosphere 🌿: You're acoustically immersed in rural life: birdsong, kestrels, owls, wind in the trees, and the occasional farm implement are all part of the experience. A country road runs in front of the meadow, and a main road is about 200 meters away. Depending on the weather and time of day, the traffic is sometimes more, sometimes less audible in the background; many sounds are muffled by farm buildings, trees, and fields. Most guests find the combination of nature, expansive views, and rural sounds very relaxing – a taste of authentic country life with quiet and sometimes a bit louder sounds. Dogs 🐕 are very welcome. By booking, you accept our camper rules (section "Dogs") – please read them beforehand. Excursion destinations 🚲🌳🏙️: We'll send you a small booklet with excursion tips after booking. You can find an overview under "Rules" (there wasn't enough space for more text here). Service and prices ✨🏷️ 🏷️ Included in the basic price: parking space + 2 people (debit via VanSite). 🏷️ Payment on site: Additional adults (16 years and older): €10/night. Children (4 years and older): €7/night.
