About the site
You will find my little wilderness on the island of Neuenhagen, a hill on the edge of the Oderbruch. The property is a good 4000 square meters in size and is mostly covered by a sparse pine forest. In the middle there is a large clearing with a wildflower meadow. There is a free-standing dry toilet (see photos). If that is too rustic for you, you should bring your own toilet. Otherwise you should bring your own water and electricity (there is a spring in Bad Freienwalde where you can refill). There are also places to sit and a fire bowl that can be used depending on the forest fire situation. We look forward to your visit!

Wir hatten ein wunderbares Wochenende auf diesem wirklich urigen Waldgrunstück, das einem das Gefühl gibt, ganz weit weg in der Natur zu sein, fast so als gäbe es das daneben liegende Dorf gar nicht. Außerdem durften wir zwei ganz tolle Menschen kennenlernen. Da ich eine starke Abneigung gegen verkrampfte, künstliche Smalltalksituationen habe, kann ich nur betonen, was für ein authentisch freundlicher, entspannter Gastgeber Johannes ist. Seine Tochter ist eine aufgeweckte kleine Persönlichkeit, die uns auch die entlegenste Ecke auf diesem kleinen Grundstück gezeigt hat. :) Wenn man damit zurecht kommt, keinen Strom und keine übliche Toilette zu haben, eine ganz klare Empfehlung! Wichtiger Tipp: Mückenspray ;-)
