Our tranquil, natural meadow, overlooking the Heidschnucken sheep pasture, is located on the outskirts of Wachendorf, at the foot of the northern Eifel region. Here you'll find space on a spacious meadow with unobstructed views of the landscape, a bonfire in the evening, a sauna in our clay sauna, products from our Heidschnucken sheep, barbecue packages, and chilled drinks. We look forward to welcoming you! Toilet, shower, etc. Our sanitary block features a very spacious outdoor shower (with hot water!), offering perfect privacy, a large sink, and separate toilets with sinks for girls and boys. Additionally, an indoor shower and a unisex toilet are available in the courtyard building. The clay sauna We built our sauna ourselves. It is heated with a wood-burning stove, and the pleasant heat radiating from the clay walls can be enjoyed while looking out into the garden. We offer the sauna for exclusive use at a flat rate of €70. This includes: firewood, lighting and heating, and instruction on how to use it. The factory The listed four-sided farmstead in the Eifel region also houses our workshop for tuned wind chimes. Here you can get an insight into the production of these handcrafted wind chimes. The White Horned Heath Sheep They live outdoors year-round. By keeping them this way, we make an important contribution to the preservation of traditional farm animals. Sausages, meat, hides, and other products are available for purchase on-site. We can also send you a list of everything currently available upon request. Invitation to swim: Madbach Dam 14 km / Zülpich Water Sports Lake 15 km / the maars, the volcanic lakes of the Eifel, are about 75 km away.
