I love life in the country and with it the opportunity to let off steam in my garden or simply to enjoy it. I am happy about my overgrown giant box tree, which is harvested by hundreds of wild bees in early spring. In my garden I also reserved a part for growing vegetables. It's great to be able to enrich the kitchen with your own harvest all year round.
I find sustainability, zero waste and upcycling to be important and super exciting. For me, baking sourdough bread, pickling vegetables and making jam all contribute to treating nature with respect.
Since I'm a chemistry teacher in real life, boiling soap and pressing fruit wines are some of my hobbies. But actually I like everything that I can be creative with.
