About the site
My pitches are in "Im Ohl" near Usseln, a district of the well-known holiday resort of Willingen. Here I run my geo-information room on a voluntary basis, because I live directly in the "GeoPark Grenzwelten". Anyone interested in geology, fossils and gold deposits is just as welcome as active holidaymakers. As a geopark guide, I can give you some great recommendations. And now to the pitch: you and your motorhome are parked in heavenly peace on a gravelled site in the immediate vicinity of my house. In the geo-information room there are washrooms with toilets and showers, which you can of course use if required, for a fee. Electricity is also available. My small FOREST HUT with additional sleeping facilities is now ready. If you need it, you can simply ask in your message to me. The price for the hut is €60 per night for 2 people. 1 dog costs €10 extra per day. Building campfires🔥 or lighting barbecues and hob cookers is prohibited in the Grenzwelten Nature Park and GeoPark. Spirit and gas cookers are permitted. We had a wonderful stay here; the hosts were very kind and always helpful. The campsite was clean and well-equipped. It's located somewhat secluded in the countryside, but the nearest towns are easily accessible by bike. Hiking and cycling routes start right outside the door. We can wholeheartedly recommend this spot.
