About the site
Not far from the edge of the forest is our meadow, where we plant a few trees every year so that we can have a beautiful fruit tree population in a few years. The property is fenced and offers a beautiful view towards the Odenwald, for example the Otzberg or the vineyards near Groß-Umstadt. There is a lot to do in our area, e.g. the Art Nouveau baths in Darmstadt, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Messel Pit, the Kranistein hunting lodge, the Lautertal rock sea, the Otzberg, the Hüttenthal cheese dairy, the Marbach reservoir, the Prinz von Hessen pit, the Reichelsheim chocolate factory, the Darmstadt State Museum, historic old towns, the Beerfelden horse market, the Vivarium Zoo, the English Garden in Eulbach, the wildlife park, the Roman Villa Haselburg, etc.

The rest of the meadow is used to produce feed for our horses. 3. If you bring a dog or other animal with you, please take their droppings with you. 4. Ich habe mich auf dem Stellplatz von Alexander super wohl gefühlt. Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen und er hat mir gezeigt wo ich mich hinstellen kann. Die Bundesstraße hört man zwar, mich als Städter hat das aber absolut nicht gestört. Einzig allein den direkten Stellplatz um die Anhänger fand ich etwas 'unaufgeräumt'. Sonst aber auch super Handy-Empfang für jeden, der im Home-Office arbeiten möchte, das hat super geklappt. Werde bestimmt wieder kommen:)

Hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt auf dem Stellplatz von Alexander und wurde sehr herzlich empfangen. Man ist dort wirklich sehr für sich und gerade für mich als Städter hat sich sehr schnell die erhoffte Entspannung eingestellt. Komme entsprechend gerne wieder.:)

Hier kann man richtig gut zelten! Ich bin am Nachmittag zu Fuß eingetroffen und wurde direkt von Alexander in Empfang genommen - ein wirklich sympathischer Gastgeber. Ich konnte meinen Zeltstellplatz auf dem weiträumigen Gelände frei wählen und habe mich für eine gut geschützte Stelle im hinteren Bereich entschieden. Alexander hat mir eine Feuerschale und reichlich Brennholz bereit gestellt - vielen Dank nochmals dafür! Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die relativ laute, nahe gelegene Bundestraße - was für mich aber kein Problem war, bin direkt eingeschlafen. Hierfür also ggf. Ohropax mitbringen. Alles in allem eine wirklich gute Erfahrung und für Campingfreunde echt zu empfehlen!
