With this review I would like to evaluate two categories. Regarding the parking space, we can say that it has a superb backyard with a green lawn and a view of the hosts' beautiful house, with a lovely atmosphere of Halberstadt's old town. With access to a toilet and shower, and the use of the garden and terrace, our needs were met. The eggs from the chickens in the morning were a delight. Unfortunately, the host himself left a different impression on us afterward. Certain comments and hints gave us the impression that Jens has a worldview that conflicts with an open, liberal, and conspiracy-free attitude. Unfortunately, this impression soured our mood, so we don't want to visit Jens as a host again. In our understanding, camping and van life embody a tolerant worldview. Perhaps other guests would have encountered similarly strange topics "over a glass of wine" (as the host describes it), such as the host secretly throwing COVID-19 parties or Muslim guests once again fulfilling clichés. With this review, we would like to prepare and inform guests about such issues.

Jens was a very very nice host :) We only stayed one night, but we felt very comfortable. The restrooms were clean and located right next to the hotel :) In the morning we even got coffee delivered to our tent and we were very happy about it. Gladly again !

A very nice place in the middle of the city and yet quiet. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back if we're in the area.

A wonderful host and a fantastic spot. Thanks for the complimentary bottle of wine. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

A great spot in a super central location for exploring the center of Halberstadt. Everything is within walking distance. The sanitary facilities are extremely hygienic. Our dog was able to run freely on the property despite the chickens, thanks to Jens' spontaneously found a great solution. We also had plenty of freedom to creatively use the property and garden. We were allowed to barbecue and relax in the garden with lounge chairs. Very pleasant, communicative, and friendly hosts, who aren't intrusive but are always available to offer advice and assistance and are happy to help with any questions or concerns. We stayed for three nights and will definitely come back! Thank you for everything! We had a wonderful short break from everyday life here. Dominik, Julia, and Fibs 👫🐕
