The morning sun lures you out of bed so you don't oversleep the day. You walk about twenty minutes to Horka train station (Horka is on the railway line from Cottbus to Zittau via Görlitz and can be reached every hour) to take the train to Görlitz, the most beautiful city in Germany. There is a beautiful old town with narrow streets and numerous historic buildings (around 4000 monuments). The Wilhelminian-era quarter is also worth seeing. A little way behind the train station is the Görlitz Zoo and, a little further, the Landskron Brewery. Tours are regularly offered in the brewery, where you can of course also enjoy and buy the wonderful beer. A beautiful bathing lake, the Blue Hole, beckons you to swim on the edge of Niesky (about 6 km from Horka). Towards the afternoon, pleasant shade from huge deciduous trees falls over your tent and promises pleasant temperatures at night.
