Welcome to the Neuenburg Forestry Office - Welcome to the Lower Saxony State Forests. With our selected pitches, we want to make a further contribution to the recreational function of the forest and create a legal variant of camping in the middle of nature / directly by / in the forest. You arrive via the two-kilometer-long, impressive Krongutsallee, which you follow into the deep deciduous forest. The combination of forest experience near the coast makes the pitch in the Upjeverwald a special camping experience. From here it only takes 30 minutes to get to Wilhelmshaven. The pitch is graveled. If you don't want to cook yourself, we recommend the Forsthaus Upjever restaurant. Pure nature. Make your stay a real experience. Whether you're looking for peace and quiet, a nature lover, or an adventurer: there are no limits to your options. Like all of our pitches, this one is also aimed at self-sufficient campers. Departure is normally at 10:00 a.m. If you stay for two nights, you can of course stay there. Another small tip: Our forests are popular with many people, so other forest visitors can occasionally park for a while on our remote parking spaces. Don't be surprised, some of the forest paths are occasionally used for forestry. Beautiful spot, very quiet at night. Access is a bit tight with a caravan. One point deducted because the site is very uneven. Otherwise, highly recommended.

You sleep in a public parking lot belonging to the forestry administration. Despite the weekend, it was pleasantly quiet (few other cars). Waking up in the middle of the forest to birdsong in the morning—what more could you want? We didn't have the best reception...
