About the site
In the middle of the countryside, quiet, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Unfortunately, we had to cut down our spruce grove and have set up a comfortable parking space on the meadow in front of it, which will be expanded further in the near future to make it accessible to non-4x4 motorhomes. In the next town there is a café, Rewe, an organic butcher and a bakery. The nearby town of Hachenburg is ideal for a day trip, with a historic old town, pubs, cafés and restaurants. The Westerwaldsteig, a well-known long-distance hiking trail, crosses almost directly the parking space. In the autumn we planted various trees and bushes, which will give the site a face in the coming years. Bookings here help us to slowly reforest a mixed forest. The beetle destroyed the monoculture, now there is a bird-friendly hedge and various trees and bushes. As the site can be reached by vehicle, other people can also drive/walk past. This cannot be avoided when you are near civilization.

Site rules
The pitch is in the middle of nature, so you should be careful when using fire. Barbecuing is OK, as is a small campfire. Garbage must be taken with you. No waste water may be disposed of in nature, as there is a water protection area not far away. At the moment the meadow is still a field. We are working on a paved area, so 4x4 vehicles cannot access the site.

Ein schönes Plätzchen, Einfahrt ist nicht ganz so leicht zu finden. Kontakt war super nett und unkompliziert. Ein kleines Manko gab's, leider (jedenfalls bei uns uns) flogen Nachts ein paar Flugzeuge im Landeanflug über uns, was etwas störend und die Naturidylle dadurch nicht ganz so schön war. Trotzdem generell zu empfehlen.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal Wild Campen und fanden den Platz super! Richtig wild! Gute Kommunikation zur Grundstücksbesitzer! Wir würden es weiter empfehlen

Der Stellplatz ist nicht einfach zu finden aber der Gastgeber hat es mir genauer gezeigt. Wir hatten nicht gerade die beste Zeit (wetterbedingt), trotzdem hatten wir Spaß. Da der Platz direkt an einem Radweg (Wanderweg) führt, fühlt man sich etwas beobacht, aber ist ok.

Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Stellplatz, wir haben die Tage wirklich sehr genossen. Es war schön ruhig in der Nacht und tagsüber konnte man den Modellflugzeugen zuschauen wenn man wollte. Der Kontakt mit Jens lief problemlos, die Wegbeschreibung passte super. Alles war wie beschrieben und wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. An einem kleinen Lagerfeuer konnten wir den Abend schön ausklingen lassen. Gerne wieder.
